This was one of the best hotel experiences I've ever had. I would struggle to find a flaw in my stay. My favorite part was the motion activated lights under the bed so you could get up in the night without stubbing a toe. Genius! Everything was beautiful and well appointed. My room overlooked Broadway and there was a loud bar with its doors opens across the street for part of Friday night, but that's why I always bring earplugs to hotels. Otherwise it was extremely quiet. (That bar looked really fun and I wish I had time to go over there). I did grab a quick drink at the hotel bar and it was delicious. Valet parking was expensive but that's just the bay area. It was worth it to me to know my car was safe for the 48 hours it was there.

We were so happy with our stay! The service was absolutely wonderful, and the breakfast was amazing. Emily C was incredibly sweet and treated us like a king and queen. We were rushing that morning, but she remained patient, kind, and attentive. She brought our breakfast and coffee with a warm smile and such a respectful manner — it truly made our morning special. When we checked out, we met Aaron — wow, just wow! What a gentleman. He listened carefully to our concerns and went above and beyond to accommodate us. The way he treated us was so professional and respectful that we honestly thought he was a manager. Because of the outstanding service we received, we will definitely be coming back to this hotel! Came to Oakland for a work trip. Needed to attend an all day meeting at a WeWork 2 blocks away. The hotel lobby is well designed with fun/eclectic decor. The rooms were a good size, clean/modern decor and the huge walk-in shower which was my favorite. All of the staff were so warm, welcoming and friendly from the valet to front desk to housekeeping. There were also lots of cafes, restaurants and even a Whole Foods within walking distance. Would definitely stay again!

We were here for a very short trip, or plane was delayed and we arrived will after midnight. We put the do not disturb on the door until we left in the morning for breakfast around 9:30 am. Our room was not serviced at all during the day. The room we were in was a cramped corner next to a suite with a very odd configuration. The beds are pretty comfortable and the A/C works, bit this is not worth the extra cost at all over the Marriott near by. Update: when I checked out the manager was very apologetic and comped several items to try and make it right which I appreciated.

We were looking for a BART friendly hotel in the East Bay with a bit of style and sophistication and this property met those expectations perfectly. From the warm and genuine welcome upon arrival to the thoughtful touches in our room to the surprise of rather large and beautiful patio- it all added up to a great time. Wish we could have stayed longer.

The hotel is very nice but the doors are really loud. The fridge is extremely small so it really cant be used, which ia unfortunate. It is in a decent area where there are alot of nice restaurants in walking distance.

Yes, please! This place is amazing. First off the lobby is super cool, the food was absolutely delicious and the rooms are pretty modern and sick! The bed was so soft. I feel like I was sleeping on clouds. I want to take the comforter, the pillows and the mattress with me. Next little balcony, although the views could be better. The wall is so high I can't see hardly anything 4 inch stalls. If you're shorter than that, it'll be you some cool air and the wall. I ate at the restaurant and the food was delicious. Now it's not the cheapest thing you'll eat, but I had no complaints about it taste. You get a seven dollar credit for your room to spend at the snack bar, but everything it's damn there at least eight dollars. You can get a bag of chips or a candy bar. They do offer complementary waters, coffee, and tea in the room and water refill stations on every floor. There's a gym on the third floor. The amenities in the room are lovely. Ample chargers because you know us Americans like our electronics at full blast. TV on the wall and a nice little desk to work at. A cool capsule closet. Sliding door for the bathroom and one of those European half open showers Aside from the price of everything, this place is perfection. Now I can't blame them on the price. America's gotten quite expensive for some of the things that are basics in other Asian countries. Four stars though because they could make some of the things a little bit more accessible if they're gonna make some of the other things that much more expensive. Everything doesn't have to be expensive and I think that seven dollar freebie when everything on the menu except for candy bars in a bag of chips is eight dollars, left a little left a little bit of a sour taste in my mouth. All in all, l'll stay here again if it's close to a location where I'm doing work, but I won't just come out here on a regular night just because no matter how nice it is. Got to save my dollars but if you've got the money, please enjoy for the rest of us.
